On the Topic of Pro-Life and the Hatred Towards President Trump

When discussing pro life issues, stating that we should be concerned about the dignity of all lives is an imbecilic thing to say. We should always be taking care of our fellow man. We should always have in mind the dignity of our fellow man, be it the poor, the elderly, the immigrant, etc. By saying that the dignity of all lives matters is using it as a scapegoat to justify voting for a party who supports the murder of the unborn.

Once again I say, if we do not stress the importance of the dignity of life from the beginning, nothing else matters.

Mark 14:7 For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you will, you can do good to them.

Matthew 25:35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.

The aforementioned scripture verses are examples of how we should always be taking care of our fellow man.

Now let’s look at a couple of other examples of scripture that refer to the laws of man and God.

Exodus 20:13 You shall not kill.

1 Timothy 1:9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient.

There are many “Christians” out there who absolutely, undeniably, and abhorrently hate President Donald Trump. To them I pose this question; how can you hate someone that you do not know?

What does scripture say about hate?

1 John 4:20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

1 John 3:15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Hate comes from fear. Fear comes from the devil. Ask yourselves who you serve?

I know hate. I know the evil of hate and how it can consume a person and blind them from the truth.

Anyone that I’ve ever “hated” in my life was a lie that was constantly being fed to me by the evil one. How could I hate someone I didn’t know? I couldn’t. The truth was I didn’t like the action(s) of the person and instead of saying that, I went beyond the dislike of an action to hatred for the person.

If someone brings up the name Donald Trump, and you cannot have a rational conversation with that person without allowing your feelings to get involved, pray. Pray that God will give you clarity. I had to because I was allowing my feelings to get involved while defending the President. Now, I point out what he has done to help our nation to try to become great again. Let’s face it, other countries used to look up to us or looked at us with envy and jealousy. Now they laugh at us and that was long before President Trump.

Do we take a chance and vote in a party who wants socialism to be the new norm? Or do we vote for the man who has his own “personal” faults that are between he and God, not he and me. The same man who has brought Christianity back into the vocabulary of politics. The same man who defends the dignity of the unborn and is not ashamed to say so.

Remember, 95% of what we say and do is based on feelings. Use that untapped 5% when it come time to vote. Open your eyes and your hearts. Do not trust your feelings when you vote but vote on the issues at hand.

One Nation….Divided

Well, the day is finally here. Election Day. If there is one thing that I’ve learned from this election year, it is how a (in my opinion) corrupt government and an equally corrupt group of main stream media (CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN) have continued to divide this once great nation of ours. Whether people want to admit it or not, there is a big division in our country right now and the stench of hate is in the air. Never in my entire 49 years have I remembered a time where people have despised each other so much. Some folks may say it’s because of Trump and Hillary but I disagree. They are the vessels that were used to bring out this hate and disdain for each other to the forefront but, the seed was already there. This current administration and main stream media watered and fertilized it.

Recently I spoke to an older man that I know who is in his 80’s. I asked him this question, “Is this world as messed up as I think it is or, am I just getting older and starting to notice it more?” His reply was, “No. It’s not just you. This world is at an all-time low. I never thought I would see some of the things that I’ve seen that are morally wrong and against my Christian beliefs. God help us.”

Based from observations that I’ve made locally and from what I’ve seen nationally, here is what I see happening for both scenarios.

If Hillary Clinton wins the presidential election, there will be celebrations by those who voted her in. These same individuals, or at least the majority of them, will be taking to social media and other means to rub salt in the wounds of those who voted for Donald Trump. The hate that runs through their veins will become much more venomous. This will be the ultimate “I TOLD YOU SO” moment for them. Those who voted for Donald Trump will not be happy but they will continue to pray for our country, go about their business as usual, and work towards the future of getting politicians into our government who care for the people.

If Donald Trump wins the presidential election, there will be celebrations by those who voted him in. These same individuals will Thank God first and foremost for guiding our decision making and for the future of his presidency. They will pray that God will somehow unite this nation again and they will do their part to begin the healing process. Those who voted for Hillary Clinton will be disappointed and the majority of them will be furious. I pray that I am wrong on this last one but, what I’ve seen so far leads me to believe that it is possible – There will be riots in the streets and people will die.

I can’t help but think that God is looking down upon us with utter disappointment. I know that he is a God of mercy but he is also a God who gave us all freewill which has been abused by many. At this point, our country is great need of prayer. Prayers for those who are living for the world will have the scales lifted from their eyes. Prayers for we who believe in Christ to be the light of the world and reflect Jesus in all that we do. Prayers for the healing of our divided country. Prayers for the most vulnerable members of our society, the unborn and the elderly, and prayers that our world and most definitely our country, will place God in the center of their lives. Lord have mercy on us sinners.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

A Last Second Plea

The presidential election is right around the corner and I wanted to write this as a last second plea to our fellow Catholic/Christian brothers and sisters to really look at what they are voting for.

You might be saying to yourself, “You mean who we voting for not what we voting for John.” Nope. I meant what, not who. As Christians, we should be voting for life. Jeremiah 1:5. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Now more than ever, we need to be voting with Christ in mind and take our emotions out of it.

Last year so many Christians were appalled, offended and disgusted with the videos that came out about Planned Parenthood and the selling of baby parts but now, these same people are about to vote for a candidate who will, in her words, “defend Planned Parenthood.” (“I will defend Planned Parenthood. I will defend Roe v. Wade, and I will defend women’s rights to make their own health care decisions.” – Hillary Clinton from the third debate with Donald Trump.) You can’t walk with God while holding hands with the devil!

We live in a culture of death. Just look at the state of the world and how there is such a lack of respect for human life. As of 2015, euthanasia is legal only in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Assisted suicide is legal in Switzerland, Germany, Albania, Colombia, Japan and in the US. Four states (CA, OR, VT, and WA) legalized physician-assisted suicide via legislation. One state (MT) has legal physician-assisted suicide via court ruling. 45 states and DC consider assisted suicide illegal. Oh how the world view has changed since the days of Dr. Kevorkian. As of right now, there are zero Federal Laws on Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide but, as we’ve seen by our culture and how fast things have changed within the past 10 years, that could change just as quickly.

Life or death? Without life, nothing else matters. Everything starts with life. Psalms 127:3 Certainly children are a gift from the LORD, the fruit of the womb, a reward.

The time has come for Christians to show their true colors. We are at a crossroad where we must choose between life or death, heaven or hell and do so with a clear conscience. I will choose life! I pray that you will do the same. God bless.
